We are a husband and wife team, who for better or worse, decided to work together to create beautiful and livable spaces.

We don't believe in homes that feel like a museum.
Stiff, sparse, and untouchable interiors are not our passion, nor are they are our expertise.
We also don't believe that pets, kids, and smaller budgets are barriers to having beautiful, comfortable, and inspiring interiors.
We are the right team for you if you are looking to create spaces in your home that feel like an exhale.
A space that is beautiful, calming, inspiring, where you can kick your feet up.
A space that your kids live and play in.
A space where we know your dog may end up on the couch.
A space where friends gather around the island or dining table over good food and drinks.

Chris Markham
PARTNER
INTERIOR DESIGN
Chris has been in the residential construction and contracting business for a number of years, and has always had an interest specifically in the design aspect of the jobs.
Through work in home renovation and construction, Chris has seen the process from beginning to end, and realized that there can at times be a bit of a disconnect between designers and tradespeople.
That’s where Chris saw a unique opportunity to have a team that understands both sides of the industry (construction & design) more fluently, that allows minimal trial and error along the way, a more fluid renovation & design process, and ultimately happier clients.

Chris is a graduate of The Interior Design Institute. He is meticulously detail oriented, and incredibly attentive to even the smallest nuances of design. He is passionate about millwork and loves to work with clients on custom projects to meet their aesthetic, function and storage needs.
​
He takes care of our space planning and layouts, millwork, as well as all the renderings and computer-aided designs.
Ivana Markham
PARTNER
STYLING & DECOR
Ivana has worked in advertising and marketing for 12+ years in strategic, creative and client service roles. She also owns a Wedding Planning business that has thrived over the last 7 years, helping newlyweds style and plan their dream day.
Ivana knows that it's all in the details, and she loves bringing spaces to life with styling and decor elements.
She has her finger on the pulse when it comes to trends (lifestyle, design, aesthetic, culture and travel) that both inspire and impact design choices.
Ivana likes to get to know her clients personally to understand them, and their lifestyle. As a result of this Ivana is at her best when sourcing furniture, fixtures and equipment, as well as colours, tones and textures that bring to life the clients needs, lifestyle and personality.

Ivana focuses on the styling side of our businesses, as well as client relations & marketing.

Dream Sunday morning:
Chris: It's fall, I am in the kitchen of my cottage making pancakes. The TV is buzzing with the sound of NFL countdown. Coffee is brewing, and we are about to sit down for a family breakfast.
Ivana: It's late summer, I'm sitting on a porch swing, on a large wrap around porch. My dogs are laying by my feet. I can't see my neighbours because my property is large enough to afford privacy as far as the eye can see. It's quiet. Birds are chirping. My kid(s) are still asleep.
And I have a physical newspaper in my hand.
